Imported from Kazakhstan
Bora is hands down the best Dachshund in the family, both type and structure wise, and also due to her unbelivable level of intelligence. Bora is supremely smart, calm and sane, yet she is a great hunter. She is perfectly balanced in her temperament.
Bora is fiercely loyal to her family. She is so loving and delicate, and yet she has easily established herself as the natural alpha of the pack. She is a fair, kind leader to her brethren and a devoted, faithful companion.
Despite her tiny size, Bora is a very healthy hound with beautiful teeth, skin and coat, strong immune system and no allergies.

if you have been in Dachshunds long enough, you well know the struggle of keeping breed type/structure and still fit into the Breed Standard size wise. The smaller you go, the harder it gets. Tiny dogs tend to dispay toy breed characteristics, rounder eye and skull, longer legs, deficient substance. For a diminuitive kaninchen Dachshund, Bora's outstanding head with Roman nose and powerful underjaw is a unique, hard to find quality. She has an absolutely gorgeous, noble expression. Additionally, Bora boasts a beautiful neck and tabletop topline, compact, very deep body with amazing ribbing and keel, and a lot of shoulder and forechest. She is a low rider and is smooth all over, every part flowing into the next effortlessly. She is a great mover, feet staying low, with ample reach in the front. Her dark chocolate color is outlining her features well.
there is a good reason why little Bora climbed straight into our hearts soon after arriving in the US. It's enough to only spend a day in her company to realize that she is nothing short of royalty. From her noble posture to her dreamy, regal expression, from her delicate manners to her fiercely devoted nature, Bora is a princess through and through. All other dogs recognize she is special and allow her to lead. She is a fair, kind leader to the pack, never abusing the powers she has been given, yet making sure everything runs the way she envisions. When she has to stand her ground, she does it firmly and without hesitation, but in a gentle, classy manner. Yet, nothing matters to her more than attention and approval of her humans. Not a day goes by that we don't thank the opportunity to share our home with this incredible tiny creature.
Isn't it fitting that a Dachshund as special as tiny Bora has to have a pretty special pedigree? Three quarters of her pedigree belong to Russian "iz Omskoi Kreposti" kennel, well known for beautiful chocolates, and especially chocolate kaninchens. The remaining quarter of Bora's bloodline are the American dogs of the Criscross fame, widely considered to be some of the best chocolate Miniatures in North America. With the pedigree specialized in gorgeous chocolates, could Bora be anything else but a stunning little chocolate herself? The quality behind Bora's ancestors was recognized by the Australian dog judge and hound specialist John Bink when he handed Bora's her Best of Breed ribbon and exclaimed, "too bad I am not judging the group today, otherwise I would have given everything to this exquisite little brown!"
